Note on gDrawingsh: Treasures for the Sake of Beginning.

An example would be the soft fluffy shape of a green thicket in the sunlight.
Actually I just want to touch it, or hold it in my arms, but alas that is not possible, so I make a drawing of it. Later, when I look at the drawing I created in this way, I find I am overcome again by the desire to touch, and hold.
In this way I find myself producing works by a process of repeatedly drawing my drawings.
Placed on my table in preparation for making a work, the drawings wait – shining quietly with the premonition that something might be born. For me they are the cutest of things, a consoling existence.
