It is most important now amidst the tense world situation for us to recognize mutually beyond national borders and cultures that we "are living now" "here" and "there." We should also respect each other. A path will open up from understanding cultural differences. 
"Now" diverse elements such as traditional spirit and thoughts, the surrounding natural environment, social problems, human relationships, and actual senses of values are woven into the sensibility expressed by one artist.
"HERE & THERE NOW", a joint American-Japanese exhibition will come to be held in two galleries respectively in New York and Tokyo.
