June was born in Dublin, Ireland. She has participated in several joint and solo exhibitions in Dublin and Japan and her work is held in a number of private collections including that of the late Mr Charles J Haughey, a previous prime minister of Ireland.
The medium June uses is always acrylic on canvas and having started painting in gouache, she found using acrylic a natural progression.
Over time, her painting style has changed from equestrian scenes to graphic/hard-edge technique and from bold color to softer shades. She has always been passionate about nature and for this show has painted a series of garden landscapes. She finds the tranquility of a garden can bring a sense of peace.
The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost, American Poet, 1874-1963

And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
