There's this taste for the body, the skin, the flesh, snippets, scars and secret folds, invisible and indelible memories. This is what drives me in my research: the traces of time on living things.
Light and shadow often seek each other out, talk to each other...
Saying without saying, showing without showing, changing space and scale.

身体、皮膚、肉体、断片、傷跡、そして秘められた襞（ひだ）――目には見えず、決して消えることのない記憶。それらへの強い関心こそが、私の制作の原動力です。すなわち、生きとし生けるものに時間が刻みつけた痕跡なのです。

光と影は、互いを求め合い、語り合うように…
言葉にせずして語り、見せずして見せ、空間やスケールを変化させる。
