Yomogizawa’s
unceasing attempts at a direct expression of her inner, emotional and
psychological states have seen her move through a variety of media. She
has gradually closed the distance between herself and her works, moving
from etching, to drawing in pencil and gouache, and then to sculpture in
mixed media. Looking at her body of works one senses the presence of a
sensitive, yet somehow troubled, spirit at their base and watches with
interest the various incarnations of that spirit in changing media. |
